Completion of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Shizuoka Prefecture Kakegawa City Project and Verification of Integration with Operation Optimization System "TerraSignal Run"
TerraSignal Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed all verifications during the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) conducted in China from February 2 to February 7, 2026, for the "Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture Grid-Scale Storage Battery Project" promoted by IFR Co., Ltd.
This project is a grid-scale storage facility with a rated output of 1,798 kW and a battery capacity of 8,360 kWh. It features state-of-the-art Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries from Hithium and Power Conversion Systems (PCS) from CEEG/NR.
[Confirmation of Seamless Integration with Software]
During the FAT at the manufacturing plant, we conducted detailed verification to ensure that our AI operation optimization engine, "TerraSignal Run," and the Energy Management System (EMS) provided by Nabiru Co., Ltd. integrated with these primary components as designed.
With the completion of this verification after passing rigorous tests, the manufacturing process has entered its final stage. Following transport to Japan and on-site installation, operations are scheduled to commence in May 2026.
Starting with this project, TerraSignal will continue to leverage the power of software to contribute to the adoption of renewable energy and grid stabilization across Japan.
